Yeah, applying the OCfix is necessary to get NWN and PRC to play well together in the OC. You will have problems otherwise.

Also, PRC 3.5 was written before community patch 1.7. I would guess they are not fully compatible. PRC gives you far more than the patch, though.

I have no official standing, but I don't see why you can't post it here. There is a really old thread with a server list, and that was certainly deemed appropriate.

I doubt this forum has huge traffic any more, but there are still some people who visit who might join you.

It never hurts to ask, but I think the last leader of the PRC has retired. Users still pop by occasionally, but I don't know if anyone is seriously contemplating adding new content.

I'm not sure there are any makers left. The last person in charge was XWarren, but, although he didn't officially retire, I haven't seen a post from him in some time.

Much as I love the PRC, I think it is now, if not dead, at least undead. What there is, there is. I don't expect to see any new additions at this point. Considering how long after the release of NWN 2 the momentum continued, it was truly remarkable, but all things come to an end eventually.

I have used it successfully in windows 7 64 bit and even windows 8.

The old CC bat routine doesn't work, though. I right click my CC bat, open file location, and click on "charactercreator.exe" directly. I just tried again to make sure, and it save fine. It's just a generic fighter, but it does demonstrate the CC still works.

I'm using CC 1.8 and Java 7, version 67.

If that solution didn't work, I fear the problem is a little above my pay grade. The next time I'm in NWN I will load my old illithid character and see what I can see.

It seems clear that the illithid is using its natural weapons regardless of the setting for primary natural weapons. I think the difference may be that I never tried a ranged weapon with an illithid, only melee weapons.

I've never tried editing a class to create a new one, but what you are saying sounds sensible, Marohair. The archivist is the only one I can think of that learns both divine and arcane scrolls from spells.

Daelomin, you are correct that you can't take the lich class because of the three class limit.

The lich template has different prereqs. You need 11 levels of arcane or divine caster. Your build should meet that requirement unless the levels don't increment properly when two classes are involved. However, where the lich class just needed you to not be good, the lich template requires that you be evil. Could that be an issue? It also requires that you not be from a monstrous race, whereas the class didn't attach a racial restriction.

Manohair is correct; unequipping or re-equipping anything gives you the constitution bonus and certain undead abilities (death immunity, immunity to crit hits, sneak attack, etc.) You also need to re-equip after resting each time to restore those elements.

After 21 levels of either divine or arcane caster, you can become a demilich.

I'm not sure, but I believe I read that the PRC didn't get around to installing LA with templates. It works fine with races, but I don't think it acknowledges templates at all.

Well, since Gog disclaims many things, including "NON-INFRINGEMENT OF PROPRIETARY RIGHTS," I assume it does not have Bioware's authorization to sell NWN, so never mind.
